WHO HOSTS THE HAUNT? 

The producer of the haunt has been passionate about Halloween since childhood; and has since spread the passion to her whole family.

Participating in several professional haunts, and also hosting home haunts for several years in Eugene, Portland, and Oregon City. 2023 is our first year in our new Vancouver, Washington home, and we will be premiering a short version of our haunt this year. We hope to present a larger haunt in 2024.

This is a home haunt, produced by Halloween fanatics who love scaring the pants off their neighbors.

WHY IS IT FREE?

This is a project done purely out of passion for Halloween. We love putting on a positive and fun event for our community.

IS IT SCARY? 

Many people think it is very scary, and we have been repeatedly told we should "go pro" with our project. Maybe someday!

WILL THEY TOUCH ME?

Our monsters are instructed not to touch anyone, however an incidental touch could occur.

HOW BIG IS IT?

This is hosted in the backyard of our home. We have two 300 square foot tents, an outdoor area, a photo op, and a spooky story (our backstory) that you read as you head down to the haunt.

CAN I VOLUNTEER?

Absolutely! Anyone under age 18 will need permission from their adult. Please use the contact form to reach out to us.

DO YOU COLLECT DONATIONS?

We sure do. We have a donation stand with multiple ways to donate on-site. But this event is completely free and we do not expect donations from anyone.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

The show will go on! Most of the haunt is inside/protected from the weather.

WHERE DO I PARK?

The haunt is located on a busy street that has no parking. You can NOT park in our driveway; you must park on a side street. There is room to park on NW 10th, 12th or 15th. Please be respectful to our neighbors when you park so we can continue this event.

IS IT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Unfortunately we are not. We host this event in our yard, which is down a hill, and includes some uneven terrain. We hope to be more accessible in the future.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? DO KIDS NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT?

While there is no age limit, this is a scary haunted house. You know your child best, please use your best judgement if they are ready to be scared. All kids under 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. We are hosting a kid's day on Saturday, October 28 that will have no monsters and lights on for our less-brave friends.

CAN I TAKE PICS?

We have a pretty cool photo-op located just outside the haunt, but cell phones must be put away inside the haunt. The light from phones ruins the effects we have worked so hard to create, so please leave them in your pocket!

ARE THERE STROBES AND FOG?

Yes. If you are sensitive to effects, we welcome you to join us on Saturday for our lights-on timeframe.

I'M A FELLOW HAUNTER AND WANT TO SEE THE SHOW. DO YOU HAVE A HAUNTERS DAY?

Unfortunately we have a fairly big cast of monsters, and cannot possibly get everyone here for a time that we aren't open. We are hosting an afternoon session on Saturday, October 28 for sensitive people/small kids/haunters. While this will be a lights-on session, haunters are welcome to come see our project in the daylight.
